Our client is a market leader in Oil & Energy sector in the Middle East region, looking for a Chief Executive Officer responsible for leading and managing the overall strategic direction, operations, and performance of the company. The role involves a combination of leadership, business acumen, industry knowledge, and the ability to navigate complex and dynamic environments.
Key Responsibilities will include
- Develop and communicate a clear vision and mission for the organization.
- Formulate and execute strategies to achieve short-term and long-term business goals.
- Oversee day-to-day operations to ensure efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Implement and optimize processes to enhance operational performance.
- Foster a culture of innovation, safety, and environmental stewardship.
- Develop and manage budgets, financial forecasts, and financial performance metrics.
- Implement measures to control costs and maximize profitability.
- Engage in financial planning and risk management activities.
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including investors, government agencies, industry partners, and the community.
- Recruit, develop, and retain a high-performing leadership team.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and corporate governance standards.
- Drive innovation in technology and processes to maintain a competitive edge.
- Explore and capitalize on emerging technologies within the Oil & Energy sector.
- Identify and mitigate operational, financial, and strategic risks.
- Develop and implement risk management strategies.
Who we're looking for
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (Engineering, Business, or related discipline); advanced degree (MBA, MSc, or equivalent) preferred.
- Proven executive leadership experience in the Oil & Energy sector.
- Strong understanding of industry trends, market dynamics, and regulatory environment.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute successful business strategies.
- Excellent financial acumen and experience in financial management.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to navigate and lead in a complex and dynamic business environment.
