Financial Planning, Budgeting and Reporting

• Lead and direct the effective coordination with the business heads to ensure a strong understanding of strategic and operational plans to create a budgeting structure in line with business requirements.
• Manage the preparation of the budget forecasts, based on organization's corporate plans, estimated revenues / costs and capital investments based on budget structure and Rules.
• Provide technical guidance and set budget submission deadlines to facilitate the development and updating of the operating and capital budgets of all functions.
• Lead the timely presenting of the consolidated budget to the relevant stakeholders.
• Manage the development of the financial controls framework taking into consideration industry best practices, financial risk management procedures etc.,
• Review and monitor the development of financial reports based on forecasting, projecting, and financial planning.

Financial Accounting and Controlling

• Manage the development of corporate-wide accounting policies and procedures and drive compliance across divisions; ensure accounts consolidation through quarterly compilation, semi-annual external review and full external annual audit and applicable accounting as per the defined local guidelines and regulations.
• Manage and maintain the fixed asset ledger and impairment and ensure compliance with local and international accounting standards and processes.
• Manage and review account payables/receivables related transactions, and review aging of payables/receivables.
• Manage the preparation and presentation of the financial statements as required by the authorities and provide explanations on related matters when raised.
• Define and direct the financial controls and governance framework taking into consideration industry best practices, financial risk management procedures etc., to establish financial information sharing and communication and reporting standards with the business lines.
• Manage cost controlling activities for CAPEX and fixed assets by employing project accounting tools, reviewing budgets, conducting actual vs. planned variance analysis, and approving and release the budget in alignment with the financial controlling policy.

Tax Regulation and Payment

• Continuously monitor changes and updates on tax regulations and provide consultations regarding tax calculation and payment to ensure implementation of latest regulations.
• Review monthly and annual tax calculations and monitor tax payments to ensure accuracy of tax being paid.
• Manage the preparation and submission of periodic tax reports (including VAT) to management and finance team to ensure compliance with legislative regulations.

• Must have bachelor’s degree in business management, Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• Must be CPA, CMA, or ACCA certified.
• Must have 8-10 years of experience with minimum 3 years of experience in a senior financial role managing teams.
• Extremely knowledgeable in financial forecasting, accounting principles, and financial data analysis
• Experience handling key stakeholders such as shareholders, bankers, and regulators.
