Our client is looking for an Investment Manager to undertake financial research and report on prospective investment avenues related to the alternative investments with focus in the Private Equity. The successful candidate will study how the alternative investment is likely to perform and how sustainable it is and participate in portfolio-management strategy by providing the necessary data for decision-making process.
Key Responsibilities will include
- Examine and assess economic and market trends, earnings prospects, financial statements and various other indicators and factors to determine suitable investment strategies.
- Conduct in-depth research and analysis of financial markets, assets, and investment opportunities.
- Closely monitor financial press and keep a track of market trends, opportunities, risks, and new investment products.
- Compile advisory reports and make informed recommendations on new investment opportunities that could enhance or diversify portfolios to achieve investment objectives.
- Develop and review complex financial valuation models and analyse legal documents.
- Assessing business and asset valuations for portfolio and target companies.
- Analysing previous investment decisions and generating key takeaways.
- Conducting meetings with Fund Managers, and management throughout the year and maintaining relationship.
- Overseeing deal flow pipeline updates, prepare and present investment Memo of potential investment to the investment committee.
- Identify and assess investment risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
- Prepare and present investment performance reports.
- Ensure compliance with relevant investment guidelines.
Who we're looking for
- Must have bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or related field.
- MBA or master’s degree in finance or investment is preferred.
- CFA or CPA or equivalent certificate.
- Proven working experience as an Investment Manager with minimum 8 years of experience in a similar role.
- Solid understanding of financial set-up, procedures, statistics, and economics.
- Strong Communication and presentation skills.
- Excellent quantitative and qualitative analytical skills.
